Find out all you wanted to know about mangos in this one-day experience! Held Sun., June 28 at the Miami-Dade UF/IFAS Extension Office, this intensive mango experience will teach you about:
• Growing mango trees in Florida
• How new mango varieties are created
• Grafting and mango farm development
Speakers include Shannon Whobrey of Truly Tropical and Louise King, horticulturist at Fruit and Spice Park.
Tickets are $60 in advance and $75 at the door and include continental breakfast, up to 150 mango varieties to taste, a bag of mangos to take home and free admission to Fruit and Spice Park after the event. Proceeds benefit projects at Fruit and Spice Park.
