Game day tailgating calls for juicy burgers! Before the 2019 Capital One Orange Bowl featuring the University of Florida vs. University of Virginia, Dec. 30 at Hard Rock Stadium, the Orange Bowl Burger Battle Presented by Vet Tix is the place to be. Two restaurants representing the  participating teams will face off to claim the title of Best Burger & Champion. This year’s Orange Bowl Hall of Fame presented by AutoNation inductees will be our official judges and will ultimately crown the winner.

There will be burger samples for attendees to try and judge for themselves, so make sure you stop by the Orange Bowl RV inside of Fan Fest on gameday!

Representing the University of Florida is The Swamp Restaurant from Gainesville, grillingl up the Freshman 15 Burger, an 8-ounce short rib chuck patty piled high with grilled onions, bacon, jalapenos, American cheese, pepper jack cheese, and a sunny-side up egg on a brioche bun. Representing the University of Virginia is Citizen Burger Bar from Charlottesville, Va. Their Mini Citizen Burger features double “smash style” grass-fed all-beef patties on a brioche bun with bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, black onion, McClure Swiss and their house “Citizen” sauce. The Capital Orange Bowl Fan Fest is free and open to all guests with a ticket to the 2019 Capital One Orange Bowl.
