Poems for Bread at Zak the Baker
Mangos are sometimes used as barter at South Florida restaurants during the summertime. Sometimes avocados can be traded in for treats. And this October, your carefully cultivated words in the form of a haiku can be swapped for a loaf of bread at Wynwood’s Zak the Baker.
ZTB and O, Miami want to know: “What is Miami food culture?”
Share the haiku at the bakery during their hours of operation (Sun.-Fri. 7am-5pm, except for Oct. 9). One poem gets one loaf of bread, limited to one per day, while supplies last. Look for a Poetry Workshop Oct. 23 at ZTB.
