Miami-Dade’s longest-running festival celebrates the dazzling blooms of the Royal Poinciana (Delonix regia), typically in glorious bloom every June, with walking, bike and trolley tours, the presentation of the Queen and her court, and other activities. Free Walking Tour of Miami-Dade’s First Flowering Tree Park

Trolley tours of the garden start at 6pm. At 7pm, refreshments will be served, including Royal Poinciana Punch. At 7:30pm, presentations will take place for the 2026 Royal Poinciana Queen and Court scholarship recipients and the Larry Schokman Book Award recipient. The Coral Gables Music Club is presenting a concert at Steinway Piano Gallery featuring rising young artists Zoe Aldana, Nicolas Marin Fumero, Shanming He and Mason Lang. Royal Poinciana Tree Planting

Join the Tropical Flowering Tree Society and TREEmendous Miami in planting 18 Royal Poinciana trees at the Miami Springs Golf and Country Club, and one Cassia bakeriana at the restored Curtiss Mansion. Royal Poinciana Festival Bike Tour

Coral Gables Museum
Led by Bike Walk Coral Gables and Dade Heritage Trust, this event starts at the Coral Gables Museum at 285 Aragon and takes riders on a tour of the best Royal Poincianas in full flower. Adults $10, children under 12 $5. RSVP here.
Royal Poinciana Trolley Tours

The tours begin at the Coral Gables Library and highlight the best trees and blossoms of the season, narrated by poinciana experts. Tickets are $25 per person. Reserve here.
