Greater Miami has a new Michelin-starred restaurant – Miami Beach’s Tambourine Room by Tristan Brandt at the Carillon Miami Wellness Resort – and two new Bib Gourmands (good food at a moderate price), Jaguar Sun and Rosie’s, adding to the stellar group of dining establishments honored at a ceremony at LoanDepot Park.

South Florida’s culinary crowd turned out to cheer on the winners, which included restaurants in Tampa and Orlando. Miami’s Gio Gutierrez of ChatChowTV co-hosted the festive event overlooking the Marlins ballpark.

The Tambourine Room joins Miami 2023 starred establishments: L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon Miami, the only two-starred restaurant. amd the following one-star restaurants: Ariete, Boia De, Cote Miami, The Den at Azabu Miami, Elcielo Miami, Hiden, Le Jardiinier Miami, Stubborn Seed and The Surf Club Restaurant.Jaguar Sun and Rosie’s were added to the 2023 Bib Gourmands: Bachour, Chug’s Diner DOYA, El Turco, Ghee Iindian Kitchen, Hometown Barbecue Miami, La Natural, Lucali, Lung Yai Thai Tapas, Mandolin Aegean Bistro, Michael’s Genuine, Phuc Yea, Sanguch de Miami, Tinty y Cafe, Zak The Baker and Zitz Sum.

The Michelin Exceptional Cocktails award by Basil Hayden was presented  to Bar Team at Jaguar Sun in downtown Miami.

Also awarded stars were establishments in Tampa Bay: Koya, Lilac and Rocca and Bib Gourmands Gorkhail Kitchen and Rsomi. In Orlando, Isan Zaap, Norigami, Otto’s High Dive and Taste of Chengdu were awarded Bib Gourmand.

“Florida has three distinct culinary hotspots that make the state a premier destination for gourmet-travelers, who can experience a wealth of flavors and creative cooking styles,” says Gwendal Poullennec, International Director of the MICHELIN Guides. A total of 144 restaurants and 38 cuisine types make up Florida’s 2023 selection.
