A Morning with Vietnam War Veteran Tom Equels
WHAT: Miami native Sir Thomas Equels, a decorated Vietnam combat veteran, is hosting a special event to raise awareness about the importance of mental health for veterans. His debut novel, The Horeseman’s Tale, highlights Vietnam memories and explores unique healing methods for mental health and PTSD.

Veterans Day Parade, Miami Beach
WHAT: Join the City of Miami Beach for the 16th annual Veterans Day Parade and Celebration, featuring veteran and military groups, marching bands, an F-16 flyover, local businesses and community organizations. A three-month outdoor exhibition “Boot Camp in Paradise: World War II in Miami Beach” opens.

Fort Lauderdale Veterans Day Ceremony
WHAT: Join the City of Fort Lauderdale and the William C. Morris American Legion Post 36 at a Veterans Day Ceremony to honor the men and women of the United States Armed Forces. Participating Veterans groups will include the William C.
