Every April, we celebrate National Poetry Month in the best possible way – through fun events at the O, Miami Poetry Festival. Their mission is deviously simple: make sure everyone in Miami-Dade encounters a poem during the month – and their methods are wildly inventive. You can see the whole schedule at omiami.org. We’ve highlighted some events with a food/drink, garden and cultural component, including one special event we’re collaborating on with Dade Heritage Trust’s Baking in Historic Places and the Coral Gables Woman’s Club.
