Every year, the Miami Foundation designates a special day to showcase nonprofits and make it easy to donate through this 24-hour online giving campaign. Since 2012, Give Miami Day has raised more than $47 million for hundreds of nonprofits. These range from arts to education to food and nutrition and many other groups whose works meet important needs in Miami-Dade County.

This year, Give Miami Day is Nov. 21. The 24-hour event starts at midnight, and like pledge drives, there are matching funds, bonus pools and prizes along the way. Anyone can give (there’s a $25 minimum) and your gift is fully tax deductible.

We’ve listed below some of the causes that are dear to our hearts, but you can check for yourself which nonprofits you want to support. Happy Giving!
