You knew we were celebrating something on July 10th, right? We turned to the folks at Brugal 1888. Produced in the Dominican Republic by the fifth-generation Brugal family, Brugal 1888 is a premium rum that uses sherry casks and two different types of wood, ex-Bourbon and Oloroso Sherry, to age its rum. This technique is usually reserved for high-end, single malts and is a rarer process for aging rum.
Founded by Don Andres Brugal Montaner, Brugal Rum features their first maestra ronera and the youngest Master of Rum in the industry.
