Why We Love It: Minty Z is newly renovated but still tiny, and their dim sum is still dynamite. Favorites include crispy Cuban corn wontons, lavender-hued ube buns filled with creamy sweet potatoes and coconut, and king oyster bao made with fresh, locally grown mushrooms. Minty Z serves bold bowls too, like Massaman curry with ropy noodles, shaved vegetables and tofu in a rich peanut sauce. Housemade cauliflower kimchee is fermented, fiery and fish sauce-free.
