Tropical Mango Salad with Chili Lime

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs ripe but firm mangos, peeled, pitted and cut into 1-inch chunks or slices
  • 1 teaspoon grated lime zest
  • 4 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice
  • ¼ cup mint leaves, chopped
  • ½ teaspoon chili powder
  • Salt
  • Additional whole mint leaves for garnish, if desired

About this recipe

Serves 4  Spicy Thai mangos like Nam Doc Mai work well for this dish. In a hurry? Sprinkle Tajín, a Mexican blend of dried chiles, dehydrated lime and salt.

Combine all ingredients in a bowl and toss gently.
