Hook-ups: Seafood Markets

These seafood markets work with local fishermen to provide fresh seafood in season: yellowtail snapper, snapper, stone crab claws, Florida lobster, hogfish, shrimp and more from South Florida waters. Many also carry non-local, in-demand seafood – salmon, Maine lobster, trout and so on. Fish markets will clean, scale and prepare filets from whole fish if you want, and they’ll give expert advice on preparation. Some also have adjoining restaurants where you can try the catch of the day.
